GENERAL RULES:

This show is sanctioned by the American Dairy Goat Association (ADGA). ADGA rules shall govern. The show order IS subject to change by decision of the show committee.

This is a FUZZY show. The only clipping permitted is in the following areas: udder (rear and in front of foreudder), lower legs, rear legs up to and around vulva (for sanitary birth clip) and tail. Clipping is not required. If temperatures rise before show, the show committee may remove the fuzzy show requirements. Should this occur, the change will be posted on the show website and on the show Facebook group.

The Junior and Senior Doe shows are separately sanctioned.

Exhibitors winning GCH must remain for Best in Show or will risk forfeiting their leg.

Base date for class entry calculation is May 04, 2024.

The original registration certificate is required for all animals six months of age & older. Stamped duplicates may be used for animals less than six months old, valid for 30 days from date of issue.

No dogs allowed inside the Livestock Barn.

SWWDGA, ADGA, the Kitsap County Fairgrounds and members of the show committee will not be held liable or responsible for any damage, loss, injury or illness to persons, animals, or property in connection with this show.

Any exhibitor behaving in an ill-mannered way toward their animals, other exhibitors, judges or the show committee will be asked to leave.

Concessions might not be available on-site. Multiple fast-food restaurants, coffee shops and grocery stores are within 5 minutes of the facility.

No pre-show milk-out. Exhibitors are reminded to monitor their does’ udder health and relieve them appropriately throughout each show day.

Substitutions are allowed within the same breed only. No refunds of entry fees.

Milk must be disposed of in designated areas. No dumping of milk down any drains.

Fairgrounds will be open at 7am on Saturday, May 4th for same day arrivals.

All exhibitors must arrive and be checked in at least 15 minutes before the start of the show on Saturday, May 4th.

All animals and exhibitors must vacate the fairgrounds no later than 6pm or within 2 hours of the show ending on Saturday, May 4th.

There will be limited facilities available for overnight camping on Friday, May 3rd. Space is available on a case by case basis only. Please contact a member of the show committee with any questions.

Entry numbers will be limited by available barn space.
ENTRY FEES: Entry Fees are $10 a goat per ring. Substitutions are allowed only within the same breed and show (Junior Show or Senior Show). No refunds of entry fees will be issued. Entries should be submitted via PayPal to contact@swwdga.com
PEN FEES: Small (6x6) pens are available for $10 each. Large (12x6) pens are available for $20. The facility will provide bedding and pen cleaning services. Please note that the number of pens requested by an exhibitor may be reduced. If this occurs, a refund will be made to the exhibitor. Large pens are suitable for 5-6 Standard adults or 9-10 Nigerian Dwarf adults. Small pens are suitable for 2 Standard adults or 4 Nigerans Dwarf adults or for use as tack pens.
CHECK-IN: Registration papers must be checked prior to the show. Check-in will close 15 minutes before the start of the show.
HEALTH CHECK: Will be on the honor system. Exhibitors will be asked to remove any animal that has been found to be ill and/or contagious. These animals must be placed in their vehicle or trailer away from all other animals competing in the show.
PARKING: Parking in designated areas only.
ORDER OF SHOW: The show order IS subject to change by decision of the show committee. The ADGA Senior Doe Show will follow a lunch break after the completion of the ADGA Junior Doe Show. Senior Doe Show will not start before Noon.
